Bengals Tanner Hudson Not Practicing Wednesday

Bengals' Tanner Hudson: Not practicing Wednesday

Bengals injury situation changing daily

The Bengals' injury situation is changing rapidly, particularly on the offensive line. Guard Tanner Hudson missed practice on Wednesday with a knee injury, and his availability for Sunday's game against the Browns is now in doubt.

With right tackle La'el Collins, left tackle Jonah Williams, and center Ted Karras all missing practice on Wednesday, the Bengals are suddenly thin on the offensive line. Hakeem Adeniji and Cordell Volson filled in for Collins and Williams at practice, while Trey Hill took over at center.

Backup linemen likely to fill in on Sunday

If Hudson and the other injured linemen are unable to play on Sunday, the Bengals will likely be forced to start several backup linemen. Adeniji has started three games at right tackle this season, and Volson has started one game at left tackle. Hill has yet to start a game this season, but he has played in all 11 games as a reserve.

The Bengals will need to make a decision on Hudson's status by Saturday. If he is unable to play, the Bengals will likely be forced to start an inexperienced offensive line against a Browns defense that is ranked 12th in the NFL in sacks.

Hudson missed multiple weeks earlier this season with injury

Hudson missed three games earlier this season with a knee injury. He returned to the lineup in Week 9, but he has been limited in practice this week due to the knee injury.

The Bengals are hoping that Hudson will be able to play on Sunday, but they are preparing for the possibility that he will not be able to go. If Hudson is unable to play, the Bengals will be forced to start an inexperienced offensive line against a Browns defense that is ranked 12th in the NFL in sacks.
