Turkey made a winning start to their Euro 2024 campaign with a thrilling 3-1 victory over Georgia in Group F at the BVB Stadion Dortmund. In a game that saw both teams make their tournament debuts, Mert Muldur and Arda Guler scored stunning goals to guide Turkey to a deserved win.
Turkey started the match brightly and took the lead in the 14th minute through a brilliant strike from Muldur. The defender picked up the ball on the right-hand side of the pitch, cut inside, and unleashed a powerful shot that flew into the top corner of the net.
